Dr. William Winter is a child and adolescent psychiatrist based in NYC. Areas of interest include ADHD, behavioral issues, anxiety and phobias, academic, social and family problems.

Dr. Winter enjoys doing therapy, i.e. cognitive and behavioral therapy, play therapy and family therapy. He prescribes medication when clinically warranted.

Double boarded by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Winter is a specialty fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He enjoys teaching and has taught/supervised Family Therapy at the NYU Child Center, has been on faculty at Beth Israel Hospital and teaches/ supervises PhD students at the Ferkauf graduate school of Psychology.

The focus of Dr. Winter’s practice is working with children, teenagers, and their families.
